Why use plastic at all?

We are always looking for a better solution to waterproof the fiberboard, but so far, no alternative method meets our standard of 6 months to a year readability in all climates.

Can you recycle or composite these signs.

Unfortunately, composting is not a good option because the coating will take too long to degrade to saturate the fiberboard without shredding. Check with your local recycler to see if they accept paper cups. This will get you your answer without getting too technical.

Are Ecostakes durable in the Wind?

Yes, they are! Our heavy-duty stakes are thicker than the average stakes, and because they extend the full with of the sign, and not just in the middle of the sign, they twist less.

How many colors are Ecostakes?

I thought that Eco-products cost more. How can these be so inexpensive?

Because we use high speed proprietary equipment we can print on rolls, instead of single plastic rigid signs one by one.
